OUR STORY

Salt’s Smokehouse started the way all great stories do: around a table, over good food, with a lot of bold ideas and even bolder flavours.

Founded by three friends with zero hospitality background and 100% obsession with great barbecue, Salt’s was never meant to be another cookie-cutter restaurant. No culinary school. No fine-dining pedigree. Just real people with full-time jobs, full hearts, and a shared hunger for juicy brisket, tender ribs, and smoky goodness that actually hits.

Grill-Seekers Only

What began as backyard BBQ experiments and YouTube deep-dives turned into tasting sessions, failed leases, and a hunt across London for the perfect spot. After a few scrapped plans (RIP backyard smoker and ghost kitchen), they found their home in the heart of West Ealing and went all in. Salt’s isn’t about frills. It’s about flavour. Think slow-smoked brisket sold by weight. Halal short ribs that fall off the bone. Smash burgers with crispy edges and soft centres. The kind of food you remember long after the sauce is wiped off your fingers.

Made for groups

Every detail, from the smoked meat prep to the laid-back, group-friendly interiors, is designed for people who love a proper meal without the pretense. Whether you’re a BBQ connoisseur or just here for the vibes, there’s something crave-worthy for everyone.
Throughout our journey, we never want to lose the magic that makes Salt’s Smokehouse what it is: premium halal BBQ, made with heart, served with soul.

What’s in a name?

The name “Salt’s” isn’t just about seasoning. Though let’s be honest, no good BBQ exists without it. It’s a tribute to the people who made this whole thing worth doing: our kids.

The name carries their initials, stitched together as a reminder of why we took the risk in the first place. This is why everything we do is rooted in love and legacy.

Brisket melted of our forks and was delicious! The fries were also amazing along with the mac and cheese. If only there was one local to the south coast! Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended 👌

I went in with my son today & had the beef brisket, fries & Oreo cookie milkshake. The milkshake was the best I’ve ever had & the beef brisket melted in our mouths. We went around 2pm is was very quite but as we were leaving it started to get busier. The food is great honestly & will be going back. Definitely one for the books!

Smoky, Saucy, and Seriously Tasty! 🔥🍖
Just had a feast at Salt’s Smokehouse and wow — what a treat! If you love bold BBQ flavours and juicy, slow-smoked meats, this place is a must. The Wagyu brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the pulled brisket burgers were stacked with flavour.
Loved that everything is halal and still packed with authentic smokehouse goodness. Will 100% be back
